Akshat Arya – Driven to make a mark in Hospitality!

The only thing standing between you and success is you, mantra that Akshat Arya lives by. Began his career as an Industrial Trainee in 2014 with Hyatt hotels and is now leading a team.

After his training for a year at Hyatt, fast tracked his career into Management Trainee from June 2016 at Feathers, Chennai performing every task bestowed with great dedication and commitment. His persona earned him the promotion to a Sales Executive in the same hotel at a record breaking period.

Joining the Marriott portfolio with Courtyard by Marriott, Chennai as a Sales Executive in 2017 and within no time he was handpicked as ‘Executive of the Month’ followed by “Act of Awe” in May 2018 for outstanding 360 Degree contributions to all stake holders. This soon earned him another promotion as an Assistant Sales Manager in the year 2018 and was even recognized as the “Manager of the Month” in September’2018.

Taking over as a Sales Manager, he enhanced the revenue and built a comprehensive database for hotel and the market. Getting nominated to highest award presented “J. Willard Marriott Award of Excellence” in February’2019. Akshat is also certified under Leadership Training Programme at the Marriott Development Academy in November’20. 

As a Senior Sales Manager at Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai, Vashi since March 2022 has been pivotal in changing the hotel sales landscape.

With the success and legacy he has been creating at such young age and in a short span, Akshat Arya has been honoured with the Nationwide Awards Under 30 Emerging Industry Experts -2023.
