Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat Express in this state on Tuesday in Thiruvananthapuram.
At 11:10 a.m., he waved the train away from this location's Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway station.The Prime Minister hailed supporters from his automobile as he drove to the train station after landing at Thiruvananthapuram Airport around 10.10 am.

He was welcomed at the airport by Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Prior to the start of the race, the Prime Minister spoke with a group of schoolchildren inside the Vande Bharat's C1 coach. Shashi Tharoor, the Congress MP, the governor of Kerala, and the chief minister were all in the train with the prime minister as he spoke with the students.

The kids displayed to Modi their drawings and paintings of him and the Vande Bharat train.

Additionally, hundreds of people gathered on the station on the opposite side to watch the PM flag off the train.

The train comprises 16 coaches, including 2 executive coaches with a total of 104 seats. Meanwhile, the state's railway tracks will be straightened out after which the Vande Bharat Express's speed would be boosted to 110 km/h, according to rail minister Ashwin Vaishnaw. The train can travel at a top speed of 180 km/h.

"The Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod route can be covered in 5.5 hours after 36-48 months," he claimed. The minister further stated that India would have a world-class railway in four to five years and that the Vande Bharat train will run for at least 35 years.

meeting at Central Stadium Following this, the PM travelled to Palayam's main stadium to deliver a speech to the general people. At the event, he also officially launches a number of railway development projects worth Rs 2,033 crore.

The PM has provided Rs 2,033 crore for Kerala's railway expansion, said the rail minister Ashwini Vaishnaw during the meeting. The occasion was attended by MP Shashi Tharoor, state ministers V Abdurahiman and Antony Raju, as well as railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. "This was Rs 370 cr between 2009-14," he added....

The PM also laid the groundwork for the nation's first Digital Science Park in the nation's state capital and presented district-level initiatives, such as the Kochi Water Metro.
On a 14-acre site near the Kerala University of Digital Sciences Innovation and Technology at Veiloor, the Digital Science Park will be built. The project, which would be finished in two years, has received government approval for Rs 1,500 crore.

The PM will fly to Surat in Gujarat once these projects are inaugurated.
