PM Modi arrives in Varanasi and is greeted by Governor Anandiben and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

He will also lay the cornerstones for a number of initiatives and public works projects totaling Rs. 839 crore.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Varanasi, his parliamentary seat.

Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP national vice-president and party’s U.P. in-charge Radha Mohan Singh, and other dignitaries and officials greeted him at the airport.

“The prime minister landed in Varanasi a short time ago,” the PMO stated in a tweet on Thursday. UP Governor Smt. @anandibenpatel, CM Shri @myogiadityanath, and other dignitaries and officials greeted him at the airport.” During his visit, he will lay the foundation stones for a number of development projects totaling over Rs. 1,500 crore.

The Prime Minister will dedicate a 100-bed MCH wing at BHU, multilevel parking at Godauliya, Ro-Ro Vessels for tourist development on the River Ganga, and a three-lane flyover bridge on the Varanasi-Ghazipur Highway. A total of 744 crores worth of projects will be inaugurated.

He will also lay the cornerstones for a number of initiatives and public works projects totaling Rs. 839 crore. The Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering and Technology (CIPET) has a Center for Skill and Technical Support, as well as 143 rural projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission and a mango and vegetable integrated packhouse in Karkhiyanv.

He will dedicate the Rudrakash International Cooperation and Convention Centre, which was built with Japanese help.

He will then examine the BHU’s Maternal and Child Health Wing. He’ll also meet with officials and medical experts to discuss COVID-19 readiness.
