Purvanchal Expressway is a highway in Purvanchal. This isn't the last gift to UP this election; there are plenty more.

On November 25, Prime Minister Modi will visit Greater Noida to lay the foundation stone for the mammoth Noida International Airport project and address a public gathering.

The BJP government's gift to Uttar Pradesh this election season will not end with the Purvanchal Expressway. According to News18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to lay the foundation stone for two more big infrastructure projects and inaugurate at least three others next month.

On November 25, Prime Minister Modi will visit Greater Noida to lay the foundation stone for the mammoth Noida International Airport project and address a public gathering.

At the Purvanchal Expressway's launch on Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that work on the 594-kilometer long Ganga Expressway connecting East and West Uttar Pradesh will "start in a few days" and that work on the 296-kilometer long Bundelkhand Expressway connecting Etawah and Chitrakoot is moving at a faster pace.

"The Ganga Expressway technical bids were launched three days ago, and the final bids will be opened next week." If the winning bids are chosen, the project's foundation stone will be set soon. A top UP government official informed News18 that "almost 94 percent of the land acquisition for the project has been completed." This expressway will run parallel to the existing Lucknow-Agra Expressway, begin near the NHAI's operating Delhi-Meerut Expressway, and cost over Rs 36,000 crore.

According to the official, 76 percent of the construction on the Bundelkhand Expressway has been completed, and the Uttar Pradesh government is attempting to open the route by the end of December. This project will also run parallel to the current Lucknow-Agra Expressway and serve as a lifeline for the future UP Defence Corridor project in Bundelkhand. The Fertilizer Plant and AIIMS in Gorakhpur are the other two major projects that the Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate in the Gorakhpur district on December 5.

The Samajwadi Party has been criticizing the Yogi government for "just inaugurating projects initiated by the Akhilesh Yadav government," such as the Purvanchal Expressway, which stretches for 341 kilometers. The above-mentioned planned projects, according to a BJP leader in the state, are all trademark projects of the Centre and the Yogi government "on which no one else can lay claim to." He added that the diverse range of projects will appeal to the state's many areas, including Western UP, Bundelkhand, Awadh (Central), and Eastern UP.
