The inaugural commercial run of the Mumbai-Madgaon (Goa) Vande Bharat Express train was completed on Wednesday in 9.30 hours, arriving at the destination over 30 minutes ahead of schedule.

At 5:32 am on Wednesday, the Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express left Mumbai's CSMT two minutes late. It arrived at Madgaon station 24 minutes earlier than expected, according to officials, at 3.06 p.m.

According to the Indian Railways' National Train Enquiry System, the train arrived at Panvel station at 6.38 am, 8 minutes late. At 6.44 a.m., the train finally left after a 12-minute delay. It arrived at Khed station in the Ratnagiri district one minute after schedule at 8:49 am, and then left for the next stop at 8:51 am.

At 10.32 a.m., the train arrived at Ratnagiri station eight minutes early. After an additional 2 minutes of delay, it left at 10.47. Before schedule, the train arrived at Thivim in Goa and Kankavli station in Sindhudurg district. Madgaon was reached at 3:06 PM.

During the wet season, the Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from Mumbai and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from Madgaon. During non-monsoon months, this train will run six days a week, except Fridays.

The train will take about 10 hours to travel the distance between Madgaon and India's financial capital, according to the monsoon schedule. The Vande Bharat Express will travel the 586 km journey during the non-monsoon months in roughly 8 hours.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5.25 am, it would leave from CSMT and arrive at Madgaon at 3 pm. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 12.20 pm, the train will depart from Madgaon and arrive at Mumbai CSMT at 10.25 pm, according to CR.

The train will leave Mumbai CSMT at 5.25 am and arrive in Madgaon at 1.10 pm, and it will depart Madgaon at 2.20 pm and arrive in Mumbai CSMT at 10.25 pm.
