Temple doors in Kedarnath and Badrinath will be closed today due to the solar eclipse of 2022.
Due to the solar eclipse, the temple committee has decided to keep the doors of the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath temple closed today. The Chief Administrative Officer of the Shri Kedarnath-Badrinath Temple Committee noted that the pujas would be held in the evening following the eclipse.
Some of the most significant Hindu sites include Kedarnath and Badrinath. Hemkund Sahib, a famed Sikh pilgrimage site, is another draw to the region.
The eclipse will start in the late afternoon before sunset and be visible in most places.
The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, as well as the north-eastern cities of Aizawl, Dibrugarh, Imphal, Itanagar, Kohima, Sibsagar, Silchar, and Tamelong, among others, won't be able to make it happen.
