Neymar is safe after a private plane crashes in Brazil.

The 30-year-old was flying back from Las Vegas to Sao Paulo on his Cessna 680 Citation, which was manufactured in 2008 and is owned by Neymar Sport E Marketing.

Due to mechanical difficulties, Neymar's private plane was forced to make an emergency landing in the northern Brazilian city of Boa Vista on his trip to Sao Paulo. Everyone inside, including the striker for Brazil and PSG, left safely.

The 30-year-old was returning from Las Vegas on his Cessna 680 Citation, which was manufactured in 2008 and is owned by Neymar Sport E Marketing. The plane had stopped in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and then in Barbados on its way to Brazil.

"Due to a small problem in the windshield wiper of the NR Sports plane, in which the athlete Neymar Jr, his sister Rafaella Santos, and Bruna Biancardi were travelling, the pilot decided, as a measure of precaution, to make an early landing this Tuesday (21) in Boa Vista, in Roraima, so that the problem could be resolved," the footballer's agency said in a statement. We'd like to assure you that all of the passengers are safe and ready to resume their journey."

"I'm just passing by to thank you everyone for your messages and to let you know that everything is well, we're already on our way home, it was just a fright, everyone is fine here, and we're all reunited."

Neymar was in the United States after finishing the season with the Brazilian national team. The national men's squad, dubbed the Selecao, has been paired alongside Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon in Group G for the 2022 World Cup, which begins later this year.
