Amrit Ammu is an internationally certified Newborn Baby Photographer based in Mumbai. She started her venture Amrit Ammu Photography in 2013 when the Newborn Baby Photography genre was new and evolving in our country.

Amrit Ammu is an internationally certified Newborn Baby Photographer based in Mumbai. She started her venture Amrit Ammu Photography in 2013 when the Newborn Baby Photography genre was new and evolving in our country. She has been specializing in Newborn, Babies, Maternity, and Family Photography in Mumbai since 2016. When spoken to Amrit about realizing her dreams, she shared that it is all about beginning with the end in mind to achieve our most desired goals. The mantra is to keep reinventing and keep going in the direction of our dreams. Based in Mumbai, Amrit has her clientele across India as she also accepts destination photoshoots for newborns and Toddlers. Her Photography Studio is located in Thane and is a specialized space for new moms and babies where they can come, feel comfortable like their own home. The space is well lit, sanitized, full of a luxurious collection of props, outfits, and themes for babies and moms-to-be. She has adapted to global standards in Newborn Safety and Hygiene in-studio and on-location as she strives to offer an once-in-a-lifetime experience to her clients through her skills and expertise.
Her studio also offers professional Photography Products such as Folio Box, Wall Art Frames, Premium Photo Albums, Fine-Art Prints, and more for her clients which are customized as per their needs and requirements. Amrit was one of the first female photographers in her hometown, Ludhiana Punjab to start their exclusive photography business focussed on women and children in 2013. She kept evolving herself through the years and shifted her base in Mumbai in 2016, which she describes as a turning point in her career. Her father is the biggest inspiration in her life and his sudden departure in 2014, changed everything for her – from how she perceived photography to realizing the purpose of her life, this incident took her life in a very different direction. She gives credit to her parents for a strong childhood conditioning that helped her during her later years.
In her journey, she has won various photography awards and her photographs have been published in multiple magazines in India and internationally. She is also a Photography Speaker, having imparted various lectures in MNCs and Photography institutions. As a Photography Educator, Amrit has trained 20+ students in Newborn and Baby Photography through her 3 flagship courses. She has empowered more than 10 women to start their successful businesses themselves. In January 2022, she launched her own Store – AA Prop Store which offers Photography Props for Photographers. Through years of hard work and passion in her work, she has carved a name for herself in her niche and is an inspiring woman entrepreneur, who is balancing her work and family life well. Her world revolves around her 3-year-old baby boy, Aveer – as she spends the most amount of time with him. She says she is able to do it all at work and home, only with the support of her husband, Manish, who also has a successful career at an MNC. Together they share the load and support each other to build their dreams.
