Dr. C. Burnice Nalina Kumari working as an Associate professor in Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Member IQAC of Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research did his undergraduate in Meenakshi Ammal Dental College under The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University and post-graduation in Periodontics and Implantology in MAHER. She is a passionate academician now pursuing her Ph.D. in a local drug delivery method to treat periodontal diseases. She guides many undergraduate and postgraduate students in their academics and research work.. She has authored books,  published many scientific research papers in national and international indexed journals. She has already received awards as a best dental educator and also received the Best Research Paper award at the international forum. She is also an editor of the Journal of Indian dental association Madras, a life member in Indian society of Periodontology and Indian dental association- Madras. She helps educate the scientific community through various lectures and workshops at the national and international levels. She also helps society to create dental awareness, especially educating the community about the importance of maintaining oral health to prevent periodontal diseases which are becoming more common among older adults these days. She always insists on maintaining the pink esthetics with a healthy smile. She is a periodontal surgeon with excellent hand skills, always treating the patients with patience and care in times of their need, and making them happy.
