An educationist, researcher, trainer, and life coach for the last 23 years with a career spanning over early beginnings in education and subsequently training and counseling. Pooja has acquired astute skills that go beyond the traditional teaching, learning, and training methods. She utilizes these skills to improve the lives of the people she works for and creates value for her students and clients.

Pooja has acquired astute skills that go beyond the traditional teaching, learning, and training methods. She utilizes these skills to improve the lives of the people she works for and creates value for her students and clients. She has often been complemented by her students that she recognizes each one of them as individuals and does not focus on a select few. 
A gold medallist at both graduate and post-graduate levels, she has traveled all over the world to present papers in International conferences in countries namely Singapore, Maldives, Canada, U.K., Australia, and Japan. She has published several research papers in National and International Journals as well as book chapters. She is currently working on a research project with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of her college. 
Her clients include Seneca College, Canada, CISF (Central Industrial Security Force), Delhi Police, NDMA (National Disaster Management Authority), CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), and ITDC (Indian Tourism Development Corporation). She has conducted more than thirty training programs, invited lectures, and workshops in various schools, colleges, public sector, and multi-national organizations with positive and encouraging reviews. A recent high point was when she successfully counseled and coached a client in a bereavement situation. The person concerned confided that the interactions were like a new lease of life for her and now she felt much more confident with an optimum sense of wellbeing.
She has been working in the Department of Psychology at Mata Sundri College, University of Delhi. She was recently promoted to the post of Professor w.e.f on 1st January 2020. She is a vibrant contributor to the college. Other than diligently and enthusiastically fulfilling her responsibilities as a faculty, she actively participates in the college committees and societies. She has been instrumental in formally registering the Alumni Association of the college and is the Patron of the institution.
She wants to acknowledge the role her Gurus and teachers have played in making her whatever she is today. She would like to express gratitude towards the Principal of her institution Prof. Dr. Harpreet Kaur who is an able, inspiring, and facilitative leader and has contributed immensely to her success.
