Dr. Ruby is a graduate (BDS) from Avadh Institute of Dental Sciences, Lucknow in 2007, and MDS in Oral Pathology and Microbiology from Saraswati dental college Lucknow in 2012. She hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. She has an academic experience of about 6 years in recognized dental colleges in north India and also research experience of about 2+ years. Dr. Ruby is a graduate (BDS) from Avadh Institute of Dental Sciences, Lucknow in 2007, and MDS in Oral Pathology and Microbiology from Saraswati dental college Lucknow in 2012. She is an experienced oral pathologist and an excelling researcher having more than 17 publications in PubMed indexed national and international journals of good repute having about 300 citations, h-index=7 and i10-index=4. She has a patent (applied for) on Bone graft material. She is trained in cell culture from the Indian Institute of Toxicological research Lucknow and 3D Bioprinting from Next Big Innovation Lab Bengaluru. She has been awarded a Research Associate fellowship from ICMR, New Delhi, and Women Scientist Award by the Department of Health Research, New Delhi in the year 2021 and 2022 respectively. She has also been awarded ‘Research Excellence Award 2020’ by the Institute of Scholars in Nov 2020 for research work titled ‘Polycaprolactone as Biomaterial for bone scaffolds: Review of Literature’
She has been listed in India Prime top 100 women icons of India 2021-22, for her contribution to scientific research. She is a life member of the Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists and reviewer in many International PubMed indexed journals. She is also Section Editor in JOBCR (Elsevier Journal). She has given several paper presentations at national level conferences, chaired many sessions in scientific events, member of the organizing team at scientific events, and was a keynote speaker in both online and offline events. Her sound knowledge of the subject and continuous zest for working towards patient care, particularly for oral cancer patients is depicted in the quality of research work targeted by her for the upliftment of society as a whole.
