Sumalini B Swamy Born in Hyderabad, Proud daughter of an Army officer, holds a master's degree from Osmania University and also a Bachelor's degree of education from Bengaluru University. National level athlete. A decade of teaching experience in an International school, happy to complete 10 years as a Principal in Silicon City Academy of secondary education which is located in the southern part of the bustling city of Bengaluru, which offers students the very best of integrated learning experience and facilities in a holistic manner.
Along with academic excellence, sports and co-curricular activities are given equal importance. No wonder our school has been ranked # 1, Top CBSE school parameter wise for holistic development India merit awards 2020. Under my leadership, the school has bagged The Best School of the Year 2020 by Education Excellence Awards (EEA). Recently the school has collaborated with CCE Finland to adopt the best practices of finish education to create global leaders.
I believe in the motto of “LEARN – UNLEARN – RELEARN”. As a pedagogical leader, I would like to empower students, teachers, and other members of society.
I have bagged many prestigious awards like the 50 Effective Principals award by Education Today, Best Principal award by Helpage India Jaipur, Youngest Principal Award, Active Principal Award, and Ideal Principal Award, and Stalwart Achievement Award 2021 by DK Education to name a few. I am also a CBSE resource person (Centre of Excellence, Bangalore). I am glad to be a CBSE Affiliation committee member and a CBSE Inspection committee member. Presently serving as Deputy District Training Coordinator - CoE Bangalore.
I am happy that I am making a difference in student’s life. I work along with my amazing team to unleash the unique potential in every student by empowering them with future-ready skill sets like critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, communication, etc. 
Individual Contribution in the field of Education
Education is considered one of the backbones of society. to uplift society, I have worked closely with underprivileged children, Marginalized groups of students too to provide quality education. I have made difference in education by bringing in novelty in education, making children think out of the box, empowering students with 21st Century skills.    
One of the most important parts of the education process is preparing students to take on the 'Real World'. As technology has evolved, STEAM learning has increasingly become a foundation of future life skills. Therefore, STEAM Lab in the school has been established under my able guidance.
I have implemented Creative Pedagogy in our school. Taken up Project-Based learning - For Ex:" If students designed their own classroom, what would the classroom look like? "This unique project in which Grade 1 and 2 students involved themselves in designing their own learning space (Classrooms) with their unique creative ideas.
Contribution in the field of Education

Education is the pillar of a developed and powerful country. To educate future citizens, I have developed a curriculum and have structured the syllabus in such a manner that it meets the changing social and occupational needs, inculcating high moral values in children.
