Caught At Point - is a platform that takes journalism about Cricket seriously. 

In an age where writing on the sport gladly hasn’t yet become about which Cricketer snores better than the other and there may come a day where such content will be read, Caught at Point is about stories that have cricket at their heart.  Not bullshit being written in the name of Cricket journalism!  It produces readable, shareable content that concerns itself with real stories and reportage.  The achievers, changemakers, unsung heroes & rising talents form the heart and soul of our journalism. 

 We are based in India, our first love, but we aren’t only restricted to Indian Cricket; divergent stories from the Caribbean, the land of Protea Fire, for instance, have our fond love!   The digital platform - that isn’t a Blog but a Website - plays with straight-bat, pulls with wit, defends with context, and muses with sincerity!  Caught At Point came to life akin to Lara dancing down the track to hit a biggie on May 2, 2017, which interestingly also happens to be the birth date of the Prince of Trinidad. 

 Today, after publishing over 1,000 feature articles - and we try not to bore you with mundane news + writing- Caught At Point realizes it has to continue doing its best for Cricket writing must be rescued before it completely loses its soul. 

 We aren’t monks or moral preachers; we are here to produce interesting content that comes from a good space; a space that can be fun and honest at the same time.  We think we are funny too, because besides stat-backed pieces and tribute articles, we also dwell in the Silly Point, a section where we indulge in humour (even sarcasm) but with a disclaimer- that you shouldn’t take it too seriously after all.  

 We are about them all, whether Du Preez, Dravid, Hope, Faf, Pant, Chanderpaul, Sir Viv, Lanning, Kallis, Veda, Max O'Dowd or Chanida- and yet we are more.  We will strive to inspire you with our work and promise to keep trying. Trust us, you won’t get bored. 

 Caught At Point’s driven by its co-founders- Dev Tyagi and Nitin Kumar, and the endless efforts of its talented pool of writers.  Nitin is a creative (Advertising) Ninja, a result-driven professional with a fondness for tech, matchboxes, disruptive ideas, and regard for the gentleman’s game. 

 Meanwhile, Dev, www.deveeptyagi.com, is a normal guy, who likes toothpicks, high-speed corners, simplicity and Geopolitics. He says he drives and writes. At times, he does both fast, though always with a purpose, never for pride.
