City gets its largest tea café- Ootea Cafe

Hyderabad, February 12, 2022: Tea lovers in the city have another reason to cheer. Ootea Café opened its first outlet in the city on Friday. Located at Road No 45, Jubilee Hills, the café is the brainchild of Dr. Geetanjali Annapureddy, a doctor, socialite, and entrepreneur. The café was inaugurated by Principal Secretary Dept of IT and Industries, Govt of Telangana Jayesh Ranjan while MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, Corporator, Jubilee Hills Deranagula Venkatesh were other guests who graced the occasion.

On the menu

According to founder Dr. Geetanjali Annapureddy, the café specializes in various tea variants and to be precise about 100 blends¬ ¬— red, green, yellow, black, white, blue, purple, and other premium varieties like white and golden tea. The three-storied new landmark for tea lovers will have a seating capacity of 250 people at a time and has a built-in area of 1200 sq yards. The multi-themed café is based on the Ooty Hill Station, which is famous worldwide for its tea. The tea products are procured from Ooty and Darjeeling, while premium tea products are from abroad. The café has continental food, western food, and non-alcoholic beverages. The price range starts from Rs 140.

Theme-based sections

The theme-based café has an indoor concept on the ground floor with a separate workstation cabin. There is also a tree-house concept on the ground floor that assures visitors of privacy and has a tinge of nature with waterfalls concept for nature lovers. The first floor has a sports zone, two private cabins, and a home theatre. The rooftop has a pub concept with a proper DJ system and has a seating arrangement for 60-80 people, informed Dr. Geetanjali Annapured.

Co-Founders of the café Vishakha Agarwal, Sindhura Palagulla, Thirumal Reddy Srikanth, Palabatla Tarun, CH Venkata Reddy Kovvuri, Narottam Sarda, Matta Sapna Rani, Bejagam Nithin Kumar were also present at the inaugural of the café.
