2012 was when I met Gunjan in college, and we instantly clicked. It makes me so proud and happy that she has transformed into a young entrepreneurial woman almost a decade later and is already inspiring millions. Her journey was not easy, but each lesson she learned was worth it. From striving to serve the country by taking the UPSC exams to following her childhood passion and love for baking, she made her way to leading bakers in India within a few years. I clearly remember that it was the onset of Covid in 2020, and she was struggling to embark on her entrepreneurial journey alone. It's not easy to quit all that you have done so far in life and start something new from scratch. So it took a lot of courage and pure intent to pursue a passion. She brainstormed with her family and me, planned her online classes from home, and began marketing it on social media and via word of mouth.

It started small, and within a few months, she was the talk of the baking town. We did a cost-benefit analysis of selling cakes versus selling online classes on how to bake. We evaluated what is working in marketing on social media, when is the right time to launch the new course, whether she should expand her baking school, the launch of the website, the international reach of her school, etc. It was all new for her, but she did it phenomenally. She has to do everything from making business decisions to staying creative at her work. It was a one-woman army, and slowly she started expanding by having partnerships and getting interns in her baking school. Knowing her very closely, I was with her at every step, and her progress and success made me immensely happy. She outdid herself, and there is still so much more that she plans to achieve.

Completely unstoppable and fiery! One thing that I admire about her is how giving she is. All that she bakes in her school goes to the poor and needy. She gives away her classes for free to those who have a deep passion for baking but can't afford to pay the fees. She travels across the globe and ensures that she captures the delicacy of each city worldwide. She becomes the medium between the world and her students by sharing the cuisine through her classes. She always keeps thinking about what she can do better to make her baking school different from the rest of the world. What is it that will make her student stand out in the crowd?

With this, I can genuinely say that Métier PECA truly reflects Gunjan's personality and aura. It's just a matter of time before her imprints become global and she soars to a level never seen before.
