Today's gold and silver prices: Precious metals prices fall on the MCX | Get the latest rates here

On Friday, February 25, 2022, both gold and silver are trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).
On the MCX, gold futures maturing on April 5, 2022, are retailing at Rs 51,180 per 10 kilos, down Rs 588 or 1.41 percent.
Meanwhile, silver futures, which expire on March 4, 2022, were trading at Rs 64,229 per kg, down 1.84 percent or Rs 1,218.

Gold prices climbed on Friday, according to Reuters, after a tumultuous day as investors reviewed the situation surrounding Russia's invasion of Ukraine and new sanctions imposed by the West.
Meanwhile, by 0204 GMT, spot gold had risen 0.3 percent to $1,909.06 per ounce. Gold futures in the United States lost 0.8 percent to $1,910.70.
On Thursday, the metal rose more than 3% to $1,973.96, its highest level since September 2020, before reversing direction and closing lower.
Spot silver increased by 0.5 percent to $24.33 per ounce, while platinum increased by 0.4 percent to $1,061.40 per ounce.
