Dr. Rajarathna Thangavel is MD Ophthalmology from the prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical college, Delhi. Her love for the eye started in 2006 with Dr.Balakrishnan Endowment award gold medal in Ophthalmology in 2006. She was the recipient of Young Researcher's Award 2014 from the All-India Ophthalmological Society. She pursued higher speciality training at the University of Michigan.
