Mahua Sen has been recognized as Most Inspiring Women of the Year - 2023, Hyderabad in Literature Category by Business Mint

Mahua Sen is a multiple award winning Author/Poet/Editor/Reviewer/Translator/Speaker based out of Hyderabad.

Mahua Sen has co-authored more than 70 anthologies. Recently, she has been published in an anthology of poetry  which houses some of the best  female poets of  the 21st century including the eminent poet and actor Deepti Naval, besides many other distinguished poets. Mahua Sen has been invited to present her work in the Literature Festival 2023 (Annual Festival of Letters) organised by the prestigious Sahitya Akademi, Ministry of Culture, Govt of India.

Mahua has published a solo poetry anthology under the flagship of Authorspress. She has edited an anthology, Flock the journey, which found place in the Amazon Bestseller list. She is currently editing three anthologies, “I am a Woman”, a dedication to the phenomenal writer, Kamala Surayya Das, “Midsummer Dreams”, an anthology of poems on Nature and Hope and an international anthology on Love poems which will be published by the renowned publishing house, Kavya Kumbh. Simultaneously, she is working on the manuscript of her next solo poetry anthology and a translation work of a renowned Bengali poet.

Mahua Sen’s poems are widely published and very well accepted both Nationally and Internationally. Her Bengali poems have also been extensively appreciated in the circle of Bengali litterateurs.

Mahua Sen has been invited as the Guest Speaker/panellist in prestigious literature festivals in India and abroad. She has recently been invited for the Singapore Literature Festival 2023 to speak on ‘Poetry in the contemporary Society.’

*She has received the prestigious “Reuel International Poetry Prize” from The Significant League . 

*She received “ The Poet Of the Year” award, 2022, by Asian Literary Society.

* She received the Poet Of the Year award by Ukiyoto publishing house.

*Recipient of Youth Influencer award for Poetry, for successfully carrying out poetry workshops in multiple schools and colleges.

*Recipient of the Woman Rising Star Award from the Asian Literary Society.

*Recipient of “ Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Award “ for Poetry from Arpita Foundation

*Recipient of “Best Poet of the year and Literary Influencer” ( Critics’ Choice Award) from Hello Kolkata Newspaper.

*Recipient of “Literature Excellence Award” from Rotary Club of Kasba, West Bengal.

*Recipient of “Wordsmith Award” for poetry, from Asian Literary Society.

*Recipient of “ Poesis Award For Excellence In Literature “ in Bharat Award contest for three consecutive years 2020, 2021,2022.

*Recipient of “ Distinguished Writer” Award in Rabindranath Tagore International Award contest. 

*Recipient of “ Tagore Commemorative Award” for excellence in Literature, an award initiated on the occasion of Rabindra Jayanti -2022.

*Recipient of Grand Queens Leadership award in 2021 .

*Recipient of “ Bharathiya Spoorthy Ratna” for excellence in Literature for the poem “ Home” by Vamsi TV Channel, Hyderabad. 

*Recipient of “Nari Samman Award” for literary pursuits and for promoting poetry and Literature amongst school children through various workshops.

*She is one of the recipients of 40 under 40 , Nationwide awards by  Business Mint – 2021.
