Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting a child. Alia posted a snapshot of the pair from the hospital on Instagram on Monday, saying, "Our baby..... arriving soon." She also posted a picture of a lion and lioness with their youngster. Mouni Roy, who will appear in Alia and Ranbir's next film Brahmastra, wrote in their photo, "Om Namah Shivay." I'm overjoyed." "Congratulations, honey!" tweeted actress Priyanka Chopra. Yaaay! "I can't wait." "My heart is overflowing," wrote filmmaker Karan Johar.

Many fans reacted positively to Alia's pregnancy announcement. "Itni jaldi (so soon), btw congrats to both of you," one person said. Another individual enquired about the couple's baby's name, saying, "Name kya Socha mam (Have you thought of a name)?"

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Ranbir's sister, also commented on the post, leaving loving emojis. "Congratulations Mama and Papa Lion," Alia's mother Soni Razdan commented. "Oh, my Congratulationsssss," actor Rakul Preet Singh said. "Congratulations, loves!!" said actress Parineeti Chopra. However, several fans questioned if it was authentic or part of the Brahmastra marketing. Alia and Ranbir will appear on screen together for the first time in the Ayan Mukerji-directed film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna. The film will be released in theatres on September 9.

Alia and Ranbir dated for several years before marrying in April 2022 at Ranbir's Mumbai house Vastu, in front of intimate friends and family members. Alia initially revealed their wedding photos on Instagram. "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home... at our favorite area - the balcony we've spent the previous 5 years of our love - we got married," she captioned them.

The wedding photos of the couple went viral on social media. In a recent interview, she told Filmfare that she isn't attempting to acquire fans by openly revealing her views on the internet. "I'm putting up an image I'd want to put up." I'm not doing it because I want to 'ki mere followers badh Jayenge (grow).' So, if I put up a photo, whatever picture it is, I'm doing it because of how I'm feeling at the time, and there's no other reason," she explained.
