Bheemla Nayak is the official Telugu version of Ayyappanum Koshiyum, a Malayalam film. While Pawan Kalyan recreated Biju Menon's role in the adaptation, Rana Daggubati took over as Prithviraj Sukumaran. Bheemla Nayak has been a hit with the audience since its premiere.

Bheemla Nayak is popular not just in Telugu states, but also in Tamil Nadu. Kaushik LM, a trade analyst, stated, "The total TN gross for #PSPK's #BheemlaNayak in its first three days is 1.12 crore rupees. Opening in restricted screens (sic) is very good."


The film has earned Rs 128.38 crore in three days, according to trade expert Manobala Vijayabalan. Following Pushpa, Bheemla Nayak persuaded the audience to go to the movies to see the magic on the big screens.
