Shahid Kapoor gets the best advise from his son in the new teaser for Jersey.

Jersey is about "one man's quest for the impossible." And, based on the teaser for the next Bollywood film, it could be Shahid Kapoor's strongest performance in recent memory. In Jersey, Shahid plays a father who is battling to live up to his son's expectations. Jersey, which revolves around cricket, also includes Mrunal Thakur as his lady love, who appears to be both his strength and weakness, in addition to Pankaj Kapur.

The latest trailer for the sports drama depicts Shahid and his onscreen son's closeness, as well as the latter's faith in his father to make it through the Indian cricket squad. Shahid's Arjun Talwar, a failing cricketer, is given a new lease on life when he sees his son's faith in him, and he chooses to pursue his ambition of representing Team India, even if it means overcoming countless difficulties to prove himself to the selectors. The on-field scenes appear to provide some adrenaline-pumping moments in the flick.
