After Shershaah's success, Sidharth Malhotra will once again don the uniform, this time as a police officer. The makers of Rohit Shetty's cop drama, Indian Police Force, released the first teaser on Wednesday morning.

Shetty's team was seen putting together the Amazon Prime Video show while Rohit was seen on site testing the car and firearms. As the clip nears its conclusion, Malhotra appears, walking in slow motion as an explosion goes off. There isn't much else known about the web series other than Sidharth's character's name, Kabir Malik, and the fact that Rohit would focus on the Delhi Police this time rather than the Mumbai or Maharashtra police forces.

"When @itsrohitshetty sir says Action, you know he actually means it!" Sidharth remarked on social media about the promo. I'm ecstatic to be joining the action king himself in the cop universe! #IndianPoliceForceOnPrime is now being filmed by @rohitshettypicturez @primevideoin."

Director Rohit Shetty is ready to add a new cop to his ever-growing line of cops in his cop universe after filming blockbuster cop actioners with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar (Singham flicks, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi).

Sooryavanshi, Rohit Shetty's most recent film, was a huge smash, with special appearances by Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn. The film starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif made a lot of money at the box office, especially given the current epidemic situation. It was one of the first films to be shown in theatres after the lockdown was lifted and people were allowed back into the theatres. Indian Police Force is an incarnation of his cop world that introduces the shared universe to OTT. This is also Malhotra's first time on the internet.

Apart from this programme, Rohit Shetty has Cirkus in the works, in which he will reunite with his Simmba co-star Ranveer Singh. Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma, among others, play pivotal roles in the film. It is set to be released in July.
