Sara Ali Khan, an actress, is achieving her goals. The actress, who has just recently begun working in Bollywood, graced the Cannes red carpet on Tuesday on the French Riviera. Sara Ali Khan chose to underline her Indian heritage for her debut at the prestigious film festival and won fans by stepping out in a hand-woven ivory lehenga from the racks of Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. An image of the actress from Kedarnath and a breakdown of the ensemble have now been released by the designers. "Sara Ali Khan made her Cannes premiere in an incredible hand-embroidered multi-panel skirt," reads the description of the Instagram image.Each individual panel is embellished with delicate shadow work embroidery that displays a captivating calendar of motifs from our historical collection of couture.

The caption continues, "Sara's costume is a masterpiece of artistry, with a magnificent blouse that features meticulous work in crystals, pearls, and resham work, elaborating on the level of skill involved in her attire. The outfit has two tulle drapes that add to its allure: a lovely one-shoulder drape and a long head veil. The head veil is adorned with teeny shadow dots and elaborate borders, while both drapes display the best shadow work.

The creative team also posted the same photo of the actress with the caption "The Indian princess" on Instagram Stories.

It's interesting to note that Sharmila Tagore, a seasoned actress and Sara Ali Khan's grandmother, participated on the Cannes jury in 2009. Sara Ali Khan is the child of Saif Ali Khan, an actor, and Amrita Singh, an actress who was Saif's ex-wife. Her paternal grandparents are cricket great Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore.

Sara Ali Khan made her professional debut in Bollywood in 2018 with the movie Kedarnath. She will soon be seen with Vicky Kaushal in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. On June 2, Laxman Utekar's movie will be screened in theatres.

Bollywood actresses Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Mrunal Thakur, and Manushi Chillar will all be present in Cannes this year. Esha Gupta joined Sara Ali Khan on Tuesday in attending the opening ceremony and Jeanne Du Barry's premiere.
