Kartik Aaryan refers to Varun Dhawan as 'Aadarsh Pati' as he joins Natasha Dalal for her first Karwa Chauth.
On Sunday, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal celebrated their first Karwa Chauth. Varun uploaded photos from the celebrations at home late at night, while Natasha performed a moon puja.
Varun captioned a couple of photos of them together on Instagram, "MOON plz." “Wishing everyone a happy #karwachauth.”
Natasha was dressed in a purple salwar suit, while the actor donned a peach kurta over denim. A photograph shows her performing the pooja and looking through a sieve at Varun. Another shows them posing for the camera against a backdrop of the moon.
Within a few hours, the post had over 1.4 million likes. Varun's buddies were gushing over the couple. "Awww Aadarsh Pati," Kartik Aaryan said. "It looks like a fairy tale setting!" wrote a friend.
When she attended the Karwa Chauth celebrations with Varun's mother Laali last year, Natasha stoked rumors of their wedding.
Varun and Natasha married on January 24 in an intimate ceremony in Alibaug. The wedding was attended by just close family and friends. Varun had revealed to Hindustan Times why he chose a low-key wedding: "In terms of my personal life, it is the type of person I am. I'd prefer to keep it low-key, especially since Natasha isn't in this film series. The entire show-sha is excessive, and now is not the time for it."
Varun was preoccupied with filming till the wedding festivities began. He's concluded filming for Bhediaya and Jug Jugg Jeeo, and he's stated that balancing work and personal life isn't a problem for him. "It's fine, and everything is the same. "I'm not having any problems right now because, like most people, I have too much time," he explained.
Varun and Natasha were childhood sweethearts who dated for several years before deciding to marry. Varun is director David Dhawan's sun.
