Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, who recently got engaged, sent out a thank-you card for the "love and abundance of positivity" that was sent their way. The Shuddh Desi Romance actor and the AAP leader noted that they come from "different worlds" in similar remarks uploaded on their social media accounts. They also reserved a special mention for the media, writing, "Thank you for being there through the day and cheering for us." On May 13, Parineeti and Raghav exchanged vows in New Delhi.

The message by Parineeti said: "The love and support we have gotten in the last several weeks, especially about our engagement, has left Raghav and I speechless. We both come from separate worlds, therefore it's incredible to know that when we come together, our worlds will also come together. More than we could have ever anticipated, we have expanded our family. We are deeply moved by everything we have read and witnessed, and we want to express our gratitude to you all. A big thank you to our wonderful media buddies. We appreciate you supporting us throughout the day by being there."

Last Saturday, the high-profile wedding took place at Kapurthala House in New Delhi. Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti's cousin, arrived by plane from Los Angeles, where she resides with her husband Nick Jonas and baby Malti Marie. Many politicians, including Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann from Raghav Chadha's AAP, P Chidambaram from the Congress, Derek O'Brien from the Trinamool, and others, attended the event.

The white gowns worn by Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were both created by Manish Malhotra, who was also present during the engagement.

Following the event, the pair posted photos from their engagement, with Parineeti's statement reading, "All I prayed for... I said yes!"

Parineeti Chopra, who was most recently featured in the 2022 movie Uunchai, and Raghav Chadha gained notoriety in recent months after being spotted at numerous eateries and airports. This year's Parineeti schedule includes the movies Chamkila and Capsule Gill.
