"My Dearest Vishu..." - Atrangi Re: Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan's "Most Supportive Friend," Receives An Appreciation Post From Sara Ali Khan
Sara Ali Khan posted an appreciation post to co-star Dhanush two days before the release of their upcoming film Atrangi Re. On Wednesday, the actress posted three stills from the film showcasing herself and Dhanush, describing him as the "most inspiring actor, most supportive friend, and most helpful team player." In the film, directed by Aanand L Rai, Dhanush's character Vishnu gets forcibly married to Rinku (played by Sara). Sara Ali Khan started her post with the following words: ""Most inspiring actor, most supportive friend, most helpful team player, and most importantly, my dearest Vishu," he said, adding, "I cannot imagine this journey without your selfless assistance, constant motivation, and, of course, your delicious sapda" (a south Indian dish). Thank you for making an already fantastic journey even more memorable for me."
Sara ended her tweet with a friendly reminder of the film's release date: "2 days to go." Beginning December 24, Atrangi Re will be available on the Disney+Hotstar streaming platform.

The plot of Atrangi Re centres around Vishnu and Rinku, who agree to divorce after he was forced to marry her. They move to his hometown and begin to develop affections for each other. However, Akshay Kumar soon enters the scene. He adores Rinku, but she is torn between him and Vishnu.
Atrangi Re is a much-anticipated project that was initially unveiled in early 2020. After the 2013 film Ranjhanaa, Dhanush's second collaboration with Aanand L Rai is Atrangi Re. This is Akshay Kumar's first collaboration with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. Bhushan Kumar, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape Of Good Films are co-producing the film.
