On Monday in Hyderabad, filming for the Telugu adaptation of the Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum resumed, with all Covid-19 regulations in place. Pawan Kalyan, who portrays Bheemla Nayak, a police officer in the film, visited the set.

Sithara Entertainments, the film’s production house, tweeted a snapshot of Pawan Kalyan from the sets, writing, “#BheemlaNayak is back on duty.” The shoot for @SitharaEnts #ProductionNo12 continues today with all of the necessary safety precautions!”

The film stars Rana Daggubati and Aishwarya Rajesh and is tentatively named PSPKRanaMovie. According to rumors, Nithya Menen has been cast as Pawan Kalyan’s wife in the film. However, formal confirmation is still pending.

The remake, which is being produced by Naga Vamsi, has Thaman for music and words written by renowned filmmaker Trivikram. The editor for this Saagar K Chandra-directed film is Navin Nooli.

Pawan Kalyan’s next projects include the historical drama Hari Hara Veeramallu and collaboration with Harish Shankar.
