Natural Star Nani is back with another film after Tuck Jagadish. Shyam Singha Roy, his forthcoming film, will be released in theatres on December 24. Nani and the Shyam Singha Roy team released the film's teaser ahead of its release. According to the teaser, Shyam Singha Roy discusses Kolkata's Devadasi system and how people are fighting to end the retrograde tradition.

Nani's most recent film was Tuck Jagadish, directed by Shiva Nirvana and released on Amazon Prime Video. The picture was met with a lukewarm reception. Nani is overjoyed that his picture is finally being released in theatres after two years. Nani's life will be followed in two timeframes in Shyam Singha Roy, directed by Rahul Sankrityan.
