At least 15 people were killed and more than 20 were hurt after a container truck collided with four automobiles and drove into a hotel on Tuesday, July 4. Along the Mumbai-Agra Highway, in the Shirpur taluka of Maharashtra's Dhule district, the incident took place.

According to reports, the truck's brakes failed, which resulted to the driver losing control of the vehicle. The crash into the guesthouse on the highway was confirmed by the Maharashtra Highway Police.
The truck was seen colliding with a white car in the CCTV footage of the collision while it was being driven quickly. The truck and the automobile hit one other, sending huge plumes of dust into the air. Some individuals who were standing by the roadside were struck as a result of the collision.
After being informed, the police arrived at the site promptly. According to the police, the injured were rushed to hospitals in Shirpur and Dhule. The victims' identities have not yet been formally released, and investigations are still ongoing.

On Saturday at roughly 1:30 AM, the tragedy happened as the bus was on its way from Yavatmal to Pune. The injured are being treated at Buldhana Civil Hospital, according to the police.
