Karnataka reported 301 new Covid-19 infections and one death on Sunday. This was an increase from the 222 cases reported on Saturday.

Despite reports that Covid-19 infections are on the rise, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai says there is no cause to panic.

"We're enacting regulations." "There's no reason to freak out," Bommai told reporters.
The health secretary will assess the state of Covid-19 in the districts and send a report to the chief minister.
