DGCA fines Air India Rs. 30 lakhs for the urination incident.

According to a statement released on Friday, the watchdog also fined Air India's Director of In-Flight Services Rs 3 lakh for failing to perform her duties.
 
Only on January 4 did the event come to the attention of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and the most recent steps are due to multiple standards being broken.

Air India has been fined Rs 30 lakh by the aviation authority, and the pilot-in-command of the New York-Delhi aircraft whose co-passenger was reportedly urinated on has had his or her licence stopped.

According to a statement released on Friday, the watchdog also fined Air India's Director of In-Flight Services Rs 3 lakh for failing to perform her duties.

Mumbai resident Mishra was detained by Bengaluru-based Delhi Police earlier this month. He is being held by cops. In court, he has refuted claims that he defecated on the woman.
