New Delhi: A social media post by a handle linked to criminal Neeraj Bawana has promised a retaliation strike days after Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead.
According to a Facebook post with the account "Sidhu Moose Wala had a lot of heart, brother. Will provide a response in two days."

The post was shared by an account called Bawana.

The post names Neeraj Bawana, who is presently imprisoned in Tihar for murder and ransom, his colleague Tillu Tajpuriya, and mobster Davinder Bambiha.

While it is unclear who wrote the message, it has been attributed to Neeraj Bawana, who has aides in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan.

The Facebook post came two days after another one by an account called Bhuppi Rana, who is also a part of the Neeraj Bawana gang.

The article describes Moose Wala's death as "heartbreaking," and goes on to criticise criminal Lawrence Bishnoi and his accomplice Goldy Brar, who are primary suspects in the homicide.

After Moose Wala's death, an unconfirmed account called "Lawrence Bishnoi Grp" claimed that it was retaliation for the murder of Youth Akali Dal leader Vikramjit Singh, also known as Vicky Middukhera.

Last year, Middukhera was assassinated, and the Bambiha gang claimed responsibility.

According to the post from the Bhuppi Rana account, the Bishnoi gangs falsely claimed that Moose Wala assisted in the murders of Middukhera and Punjab student leader Gurlal Bara.

"Sidhu Moose Wala had no involvement in these killings. Every everyone who assisted in the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala will be held accountable. His death shall be avenged as quickly as possible. We will always be there for his family and friends "According to the message.

According to NDTV, security for Bishnoi has been increased at Tihar prison. Bishnoi has gone to court to prevent the Punjab Police from taking him with them because he fears for his safety.
