The first semi-high speed Vande Bharat Express train launches following the catastrophic rail catastrophe in Odisha earlier this month that killed more than 280 lives are scheduled for June 26 on five more routes.
No longer running: Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat
The semi-high-speed trains will likely be introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The five trains will travel the following routes: Mumbai-Goa; Bangalore-Hubballi; Patna-Ranchi; Bhopal-Indore; and Bhopal-Jabalpur.
Goa's first and Mumbai's fourth blue-white trains will run between Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal (CSMT) and Goa's Madgaon six days a week, except on Friday. It took almost seven hours to travel the 586 kilometre distance on the trial run.
Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Khed, Ratnagiri, Kankawali, and Thivim are the anticipated seven stations where it will stop. It is anticipated to depart from CSMT at 5:25 am and arrive in Madgoan at 1:15 pm, even though its regular schedule has not been disclosed.
