New Delhi: A Delhi court has ordered AAP leader Sanjay Singh to refrain from influencing witnesses or tampering with evidence in the Excise "scam" case.
The directives were issued by Special Judge Kaveri Baweja, who also issued an order releasing Singh from Tihar Central Jail after the Supreme Court on Tuesday granted him bail.

Sanjay Singh's attorney told the court during the brief hearing that the politician's wife will serve as surety for the accused in the case.

"The member of parliament is me, Singh. The attorney informed the court that there was no flight danger.

The accused was ordered by the judge to provide a ₹ 2 lakh personal bond and one ₹ 2 lakh surety.
