In Uttarakhand, PM Modi's Sister Meets Yogi Adityanath's Sister

The sisters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gathered on Friday at a temple in Uttarakhand's Garhwal region to spend some quality time together. In the month of Sawan, PM Modi's sister Vasantiben travelled to Pauri Garhwal's Neelkanth Mahadev temple with her husband to pray to Lord Shiva.
She next went to the Parvati temple in Kothari village, where she met Shashi Devi, the sister of Yogi Adityanath.

On social media, a video of their visit was also posted, in which the couple could be seen welcoming and hugging each other while beaming. They greeted one another before making their way to the temple to pray.

The meeting between CM Yogi's sister Shashi and PM Modi's sister Basantiben, according to BJP leader Ajay Nanda, "exemplifies the essence of simplicity, Indian culture, and tradition."
He continued, "It's encouraging to see their friendship transcend politics and makes us proud of these two amazing people embodying India's principles.
