New Delhi/Bikaner: According to reports, a MIG-21 Fighter jet from the Indian Air Force crashed into a family's home in a Rajasthan village today, leaving three people dead and three others hurt.
The plane had taken off from the Suratgarh airbase for a regular exercise when it crashed due to a technical issue near the Pilibanga area in Rajasthan's Hanumangarh.

Officials stated that the pilot successfully made a parachute exit from the aircraft and that he is believed to be in good condition.

The pilot suffered just minor injuries, according to the Indian Air Force (IAF), and a study has been launched to determine what caused the crash.

"This morning, an IAF MiG-21 that was on a normal training sortie crashed close to Suratgarh. The pilot safely ejected, suffering only minor wounds. An investigation has been launched to determine what caused the accident, "Tweeted it.

According to police, a rescue effort has been started in the vicinity of the collision site.

According to Om Prakash, the Inspector General of Police in Bikaner, "The pilot took every attempt to prevent human casualties and crash-landed the plane on the outskirts of the village.

A Sukhoi Su-30 and a Mirage 2000 fighter jet from the Indian Air Force crashed in January, killing one of the pilots. As one plane went down in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, the other fell 100 kilometres away in Bharatpur, Rajasthan.
