Passenger Dies On Way To Hospital After Vomiting Blood On IndiGo Mumbai-Ranchi Flight

New Delhi: Yesterday, a passenger aboard a Mumbai-Ranchi flight vomited blood, prompting the IndiGo flight to make an emergency landing in Nagpur, according to officials.
They stated that the 62-year-old passenger, who had tuberculosis and severe kidney illness, passed away before being transferred to a hospital.

"Due to a medical issue on board, IndiGo flight 6E 5093, which was headed from Mumbai to Ranchi, was diverted to Nagpur. After being unloaded, the passenger was sent directly to the hospital to receive more medical care. Sadly, the passenger did not make it, "In a statement, the airline stated.

The man was brought to KIMS Hospital dead, according to the hospital.

"He was transported to the KIMS hospital already dead. His remains were brought to the Government Medical College and Hospital for additional procedures "KIMS Hospital in Nagpur's DGM for Branding and Communications, Aejaz Shami, said.
