NEW DELHI: On August 5, the Office of the Directorate General, Medical Education & Training, Uttar Pradesh began accepting online applications for UP NEET Postgraduate 2023 Counseling.

Online registration for the UP NEET PG 2023 Counseling has begun, according to the Uttar Pradesh Directorate General of Medical Education and Training. Students who pass the NEET PG exam in 2023 may take part in counselling at upneet.gov.in. The registration period will run from August 5 through August 8, 2023, and applicants who made the merit list must report between August 16 and August 20, 2023. Candidates should submit separate applications for MD, MS, Diploma, DNB, and MDS counselling and pay security fees for each course separately.

Today, August 7, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is scheduled to make the seat allocation announcement for the first round of NEET PG counselling 2023. The admission to 50% of the All India Quota seats in MD and MS programmes will be based on this allocation.

The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) seat allocation results for 2023 may be seen on the official website at mcc.nic.in. On August 8, those who were given seats must upload their supporting documentation to the MCC portal. Next, between August 8 and August 14, students must report to their designated institutes with original documentation.

The registration period for the NEET PG 2023 round 2 seat allocation will run from August 17 to August 22, and the results will be made public on August 25.

Candidates must carry a number of important documents with them before reporting to the colleges for verification. These documents comprise the MBBS or BDS first, second, and third professional examination mark sheets, the allotment letter provided by MCC, the admit card issued by NBE, the result or rank letter issued by NBE, and the admit card. Candidates must also possess their MBBS/BDS degree certificate or provisional certificate, as well as a certificate from the institution's or college's head certifying that they will complete their internship before March 31.

Moreover, candidates must have a permanent or provisional registration certificate from MCI/NMC, DCI/State Medical or Dental Council, or equivalent. A Temporary Registration Certificate is admissible when the applicant is enrolled in an internship and is likely to finish it by March 31 of the admission year.

Additionally, candidates must possess a High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of their date of birth in addition to one of the identification documents (ID Documents) listed in the National Board of Examinations (NBE) Information Bulletin for NEET, such as a PAN Card, a driver's licence, a voter identification card, a passport, or an Aadhaar Card.

Candidates from reserved categories must also have the necessary documentation, including their SC/ST, EWS, OBC, and, if applicable, disability certificates.

How to see the first round seat allocation results for NEET PG Counseling 2023
Step 1: Go to mcc.nic.in, the Medical Counselling Committee's (MCC) official website.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, look for the "NEET PG Counselling 2023" area.
Step 3: Choose the "First Round Seat Allocation Outcome 2023" link.
Step 4: After being linked to a new page, enter your NEET PG 2023 roll number and any other necessary information.
Step 5: After filling out the information, press the "Submit" button.
Step 6: A screen will provide the first round seat allocation results for NEET PG Counseling 2023. You can view the course and assigned college information.

Note: For future reference, print out the result or take a snapshot of it. Afterwards, follow the other directions given for document verification and reporting to the designated institute by the stipulated dates.
