Yuzvendra Chahal, a leg-spinner, will play for the Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season, which would be a fresh possibility for fans who are familiar with the spinner from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Fans expected Chahal to be retained by the franchise ahead of the IPL super auction, but that was not the case. And now, Chahal has spoken out about his feelings about leaving the franchise he loves.

"They didn't ask if I wanted to be retained or inform me whether or not they wanted to keep me. They had just finished discussing the three retentions, and I was told, "We will go after you at the auction." I wasn't asked about money, and I wasn't even offered a job. However, I will always be devoted to my Bangalore supporters. Whatever the case may be, I adore them "The Times of India quoted Chahal as saying.

Chahal went on to say of his relationship with the RCB fans: "I have a strong connection with RCB, particularly with the fans. I was able to participate in numerous matches with the team. RCB has a special place in my heart. I never imagined myself playing for another team. 'Why did you ask for so much money?' people and fans on social media continue to ask. 'Listen, Yuzi, there are three retentions' (Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and Mohammed Siraj), stated Mike Hesson (RCB Director of Cricket)."

Chahal has 139 wickets in 113 IPL appearances with the Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the 2013 edition of the tournament, Chahal appeared in one game for the Mumbai Indians.

For the Rajasthan Royals in the present IPL, Chahal will share the dressing room with Ravichandran Ashwin, Jos Buttler, and Sanju Samson.
