AB de Villiers, a former South African cricketer, was one of the biggest names in the Indian Premier League, but the long-serving Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain announced his retirement from all forms of cricket before of the current season. Mr 360, one of the most flexible batters, was one of RCB's most important players over the years, frequently rescuing them from difficult situations. Despite the fact that RCB are in contention for a play-off berth this season, his absence has been felt by the squad, particularly in a couple of losses where the batting has failed them down.

Former RCB captain Virat Kohli, who has been with the franchise from the IPL's inception, has a close relationship with the South African maestro, and their middle-order partnerships have become legendary for the side.

Kohli claimed that he misses de Villiers and hinted at a possible comeback for de Villiers to RCB while speaking to 'Mr. Nags,' a character represented by content developer Danish Sait for the series.

The year's best interview! Even while Mr. Nags tries to annoy him as he has in the past, catch Virat Kohli in a relaxed, honest, and enjoyable persona.

"I miss him terribly. I communicate with him on a daily basis. He keeps sending me messages "In the video, Kohli says.

"He was just in the United States to watch golf. I heard it was called the Augusta Masters. So he informed me he was there with his friends and family, experiencing it "he stated.

"So we maintain in touch, and he's very closely following RCB, and perhaps he'll be here next year in some form," Kohli joked.

"Did I spill the beans?" Kohli joked after the video switched to a repeat of him making the major announcement and then went into old backstage videos of de Villiers with Mr. Nags.

AB de Villiers joined RCB in 2011 and played 11 seasons with the team. In 2011 and 2016, he assisted them in reaching the final, although the team never advanced farther.

With 14 points from 12 matches, RCB is presently fourth in the IPL 2022 points table.
