Aiden Markram has been ruled out of the final two Twenty20 Internationals against India, according to Cricket South Africa (June 15). After testing positive for Covid-19, Markram was ruled out of the first game of the series and did not return for the next two games.

According to CSA, the 27-year-old spent a week in quarantine and 'will not be able to finish his return to play programme in time for the final two matches.' In the meantime, the visitors are keeping an eye on Quinton de Kock's development as he recovers from a wrist injury.

De Kock hasn't played in the last two games owing to injury, and Heinrich Klaasen has taken his spot in the starting XI. At Cuttack, the right-hander was named man of the match.

India won the third game to keep the series alive after falling behind 2-0. The fourth T20I between the two teams will take place at Rajkot on Friday (June 17).
