The third Twenty20 cricket match between India and Ireland was called off due to rain, giving India a 2-0 series victory.
The third and final T20I encounter was scheduled to take place on Wednesday at the Village Stadium in Dublin between Team India and Ireland, led by Jasprit Bumrah. Yet in Dublin, the game was called off before a ball was bowled because rain ultimately got the last word. The 2-0 series victory was India's first under captain Jasprit Bumrah.
India has played Ireland seven times in T20Is, winning all seven games to take a 2-0 series lead. Before to the Asia Cup 2023 competition, they would have preferred a 3-0 whitewash to end the series.

Third Twenty20 match live: India Jasprit Bumrah, captain
"ecstatic to return and enjoy some cricket. When you're waiting for a game to start, it's annoying. I didn't expect this because the morning weather was perfect. Everyone was extremely excited and willing to lead the side, and it was an honour. Everyone would be happy to take the helm whenever they have the chance. You always desire responsibilities as a cricketer. No issues, everything is okay. 10–11 months, not one year (away from the squad) (he jokingly corrects Alan Wilkins). When players are so assured and direct me, it makes my work easier."
Live third Twenty20 between India and Ireland: Stirling
"Only little stretches of solid cricket from us. There are many benefits, but it's important to finish those games. Hopefully, we will apply these lessons. It was fantastic to have India visit and play in front of supportive audiences. We could have used some new faces tonight to make the crowd happier. Now, there is a buildup for the upcoming nine to ten months."
