Will the IND versus WI game be moved? With World Cup Qualifiers threaten the first Test, WI stars have a scheduling dilemma.

There is a scheduling clash with the West Indies tour of India. Starting on July 12, Rohit Sharma's team will play the hosts in the first Test. West Indies, meanwhile, will continue to compete in the ICC World Cup 2023 Qualifiers through July 9. The IND against WI first test could be postponed because it would take two days to get from Harare to Roseau.

Despite the keeper-batter problem in Tests, Saha is "not in plans," and Upendra, Ishan, and Bharat are vying for a position.

The Caribbean team will play India in a Test series that gets underway on July 12 in Dominica, three days after the World Cup Qualifiers 2023 conclude in Zimbabwe on July 9. It is made more difficult by the logistical challenge of travelling from Harare to Roseau, the capital city of the Caribbean island. It seems that a typical overseas flight takes about two days.

During the white ball and red ball matches, CWI has often utilised different squads, but there is some crossover this time.

While in Zimbabwe for the CWC qualifications, Jason Holder, Kyle Mayers, Roston Chase, and Alzarri Joseph played in both formats. Actually, all four participated in the West Indies' June 18 triumph over the United States by a margin of 39 runs.

A CWI representative stated, "The CWCQ final is useless, so our Test players won't participate. However, we need to make sure we reach the final first."
