New Delhi: On April 28, India will begin accepting pre-orders for the OnePlus Pad, the company's first tablet. The company has finally made public the tablet's price, weeks after the official debut. From Rs 37,999 for the base model to Rs 39,999 for the top model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, the pricing of the OnePlus tablet is in this range. Only Halo Green will be offered to customers as a colour option.

Additionally, the price of OnePlus' tablet add-ons has been disclosed. Priced at Rs. 4,999 for the White Stylo and Rs. 7,999 for the OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard, respectively. If you merely require the case and don't need a keyboard, there is a OnePlus Folio Case for Rs 1,499 available. OnePlus plans to compete with Samsung and Xiaomi, two other manufacturers of Android tablets, with the introduction of its new tablets. At this price, the tablet will also compete with some Apple iPads.
 

The OnePlus lacks a 5G option despite having a design with a lot of specifications and a flagship SoC (system on a chip) from MediaTek.

Specifications for the OnePlus Pad
The OnePlus Pad's 11.6-inch LCD screen offers a Full-HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and a usual brightness of 500 nits. A 9510mAh battery and MediaTek's top-of-the-line Dimensity 9000 SoC power the tablet. The 65W SuperVOOC charging technology is compatible with it.

The SoC comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage technology to hasten app switching and loading. The OnePlus Pad weighs just 552 grammes and has a thickness of 6.5mm.

On the back panel, there is a 13-megapixel camera with EIS. It can record 4K video at 30 frames per second. A front-facing 8-megapixel camera can record in Full HD at 30 frames per second.
 

The OnePlus Pad only comes in the Wi-Fi form; future tablet iterations may provide the LTE model. Currently, it is not feasible to access the internet when travelling using your SIM card. The 3.5mm audio connector has been eliminated by OnePlus in order to boost sales of their wireless headphones.
