Users Are Now Able To Mute Calls From Unknown Callers Thanks To A New WhatsApp Feature
The 'Silence Unknown Callers' function of WhatsApp, a new privacy option, was just announced by Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive officer of Meta. The new feature's objective is to provide users more control over incoming calls. It will assist in automatically deleting spam and incoming calls from unauthorised persons for improved protection.
For even more privacy and control, you may now set WhatsApp to automatically mute incoming calls from unidentified contacts, according to a Facebook post by Mark Zuckerberg.
According to WhatsApp, the "Silence Unknown Callers" feature will increase users' privacy and allow them more control over incoming calls. These calls won't ring on their phones, but if they are essential, they will appear on the caller list.
The latest version of WhatsApp must be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, and users must make sure it is updated on their phone. (Inside India's First Flagship Apple Store, located in Mumbai's BKC)
