In NEW DELHI: After meeting OpenAI Chief Executive Officer Sam Altman on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked on the enormous potential of artificial intelligence to improve India's tech sector.

"I appreciate the enlightening discussion, @sama. The potential for AI to improve India's IT sector, especially among young people, is enormous. In order to empower our population, we are open to any cooperation that help quicken our digital transformation "On Twitter, PM Modi stated.

Sam Altman, the chief executive of OpenAI, a firm that deals with AI technology and developed ChatGPT, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday in New Delhi to address the need for international regulation.
"Excellent discussion with @narendramodi about India's amazing tech ecosystem and how the nation can profit from AI. I really appreciated all of my talks with @PMOIndia staff "Twitter user Altman said.
This week, Mr. Altman is travelling to six countries. He was also scheduled to visit South Korea, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
